Alto Apartments is a 20 storey mixed use building developed by Silverstone Developments in 2015. The project was highly successful, selling out prior to completion and with a very strong rental take up. The building sits proudly on the peak of High Street in Toowong, making it one of the most dominant and striking buildings on the west side of Brisbane’s CBD.

The building consists of four levels of car parking, both underground and in the podium, three retail tenancies and 154 one and two bedroom large designer units all with spacious functional terraces. There is also a large sky terrace with a BBQ area, gym and large in-ground swimming pool all with amazing 360 degree views of Brisbane’s CBD, through to the surrounding mountain ranges.

The design by leading national architectural firm RotheLowman echoes the surrounding landscape and Mount Coot-tha in the background.

The building was constructed by Blackwatch Projects in less than 18 months, which was an amazing result given the under supply of labour at the time and the apartments’ finishes.
